Grenada was a blank canvas for growing sugar cane. Working closely with our friends at CaneCo, a Grenadian agricultural services company, we propagated the best varieties from tissue culture and planted them first at the Westhall Nursery. From here, they were then planted at farms on unique terroirs across the island, from volcanic, grainy slopes lashed by the trade winds, to sheltered, rich alluvial soils.
